... to Eichenbirkig, a small village in Bavaria's 'Franconian Switzerland' (Fränkische Schweiz).
Due to its rural nature, this is the perfect place for taking a restful vacation or spending a relaxed weekend. Whether you like hiking, roaming with a mountain bike, kayaking on the river Wiesent, visiting spectacular caves and medieval castles or venturing to do some rock climbing, your stay will be an inspiring experience. The nearby cities Bayreuth, Bamberg, Forchheim and Nuremberg offer plenty of tourist attractions. On our website we would like to point out some of those possibilities to you.
Most of all, however, we would like to showcase our vacation apartments and the premises. On an area of over 7,000 m² (1.75 acres) there is the main building containing the vacation apartments, an old inn where you could celebrate your birthday or other events, a barn with an adjacent meadow, an orchard and finally a vast lawn.
If you don't like the idea of spendig your vacation without your four-legged friend and companion, you have come to the right place! The ample premises and neighbouring forests and meadows offer enough room for an enjoyable stay. See K9 Companions for details.

Finally! The very first version of our website is online. Somewhat rough around the edges and work in progress, but still! Especially the English version still needs some effort on translating texts! Wherever you see ellipses ('...') something will be filled in eventually. So check it out at some later time!
